In the past, it was often said that “ideas are easy, execution is everything”. This quote, attributed to venture capitalist John Doerr, reflects the conventional wisdom that good ideas are a dime a dozen, but it takes hard work and determination to turn them into reality. But in the age of AI, this old adage is no longer true.

With the recent release of ChatGPT, a language model trained by OpenAI, the role of ideas in our society is rapidly changing. ChatGPT is a conversational AI system that can understand human speech and deliver results almost instantly. This technology has the potential to revolutionize the way we interact with machines and the world around us.

With AI systems that can quickly and easily execute on ideas, the value of a good idea is only increasing. In the near future, I see the adage being modified to “execution is easy, ideas are everything”. It will be the people with the most creative and innovative ideas who will have the greatest advantage.

“EXECUTION IS EASY, IDEAS ARE EVERYTHING.”

The rise of AI is a game-changer for our society, and it requires a new way of thinking. Instead of being told to dream less, we need to be encouraged to dream bigger and more boldly. We need to be encouraged to be curious and adventurous, and to embrace the endless possibilities that AI offers.

As a young adult, I am excited about the future and the incredible potential of AI. I believe that with the right mindset and the right approach, we can harness this technology to create a brighter, more innovative future for all of us. Let’s not be held back by outdated ideas about what is possible. Let’s embrace the power of AI and let our imaginations run wild.
